Measure the amount of rubbish produced on two days?
Due to this Covid 19 pandemic there are very less students present at this boarding school so, there is only 5 kg waste produced in one day in the whole school including the dining hall and the dormitory.
Part 2 C - Conclusion
A critical component in any waste management program is public awareness and participation, in addition to appropriate legislation, strong technical support, and adequate funding. Waste is the result of human activities and everyone needs to have a proper understanding of waste management issues, without which the success of even the best conceived waste management plan becomes questionable
We visited the Swachh Bharat Point where all the rubbish is taken from schools and residential areas and is composted there and the wet rubbish is used to produce electricity.
We got the detailed information about this from the Mayor Of Panchgani Mrs. Laxmi Karhadkar
Swachh Bharat Point
The waste is segregated in two types - Dry Waste And Wet Waste
After collecting the waste in segregation form, it is transported to Swacch Bharat Point through GP's operated vehicles
The dry garbage is segregated in to 8 different types and sent to their respective factories for recycling.
